You know, we can hear about life for believers in closed countries, but reading this story and hearing the voices of Davoud and Susan bring this to a reality in my heart by the bond we share in Christ. You are my sister and brother and we will spend eternity together. That being the case, I need to pray for you and to do my part to support those like you and those who are working that the whole world may know. Thank you for sharing your story and I am going to pray for you.

It is a brave thing to find Christ in the Middle East. I will pray for these people and hope they will find peace in their lives.

God was working on my heart as I watched the segment and read “Davoud” and “Susan’s” testimony. I am praying and currently looking at maybe doing full-time mission work in a middle eastern country. I was made more aware by this just how dangerous it can be to be a Christian in a place like Iran. Also, being an American there would probably make me an automatic target and would make me much more likely to be surveilled very closely. I was especially touched at the end when Davoud said “When you read Acts, you don’t find yourself lonely, we Iranian Christians are experiencing this truth….we are His followers.” I believe our brethren in places like these can definitely relate to the passages that describe and speak of intense persecution. I will be praying for the people of Iran and for the Christians who live in the Middle East.

What a wonderful testimony of faith and new birth in our Lord. Am praying for Davoud and Susan and the Iranian people. I get so discouraged watching the news reports of what is going on, but reading this story and watching the video has given me more hope that my prayers for Iran are not in vain. May Jesus be praised and made famous through your lives. You have truly found The Precious Treasure of life. Prayers and praise are offered for you. More in America are hungry to pour our lives out to Him, being living sacrifices, to Him. Most of us have had so much. We want the chance to give Him to those who have never had a chance to hear. We want to be free from self-indulgence and self-interest to live freely in His Presence offering him to those He loves. God bless you. Walk with Him. He teaches us how to live and how to die.
